2025 Study Tour to Melbourne, Australia

Ten of our P5 students participated in a wonderful 10-day Study Tour to Melbourne, Australia in early April. The trip was co-organized by Yaumati Catholic Primary School, St. Patrick’s School and Bishop Walsh Primary School.

During this trip, we toured famous tourist spots in Melbourne as well as its surrounding towns. We visited the amazing Twelve Apostles, Bendigo, Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne Zoo, and Scienceworks, among other places, where students learned much more about Australian culture.

We also visited St. Patrick’s Primary School in Melbourne, where Hong Kong and Australian students engaged in cross-cultural exchange activities. Our students experienced what it was like to be Australian primary school students for a day. The school showed us great hospitality. The classes were very fun, and everyone learned a lot in such a short period of time.

Students had the invaluable chance to practise using English in the most authentic context, which has boosted their confidence in using English in real life!
